The following letter has been sent to the FCC:
Federal Communications Commission
Consumer & Governmental Affairs Bureau
445 12th Street, SW
Washington, D.C. 20554
Dear FCC Representative:
I wish to withdraw my complaint of April 12, 2012, reference #12-C00388623.
Radio station management has seen to it that an apology for the behavior described in the complaint was made. This broadcast took place on April 18, 2012, at 10:45 pm.
Additionally, Mr. Tomczak agreed to refrain from further public communication (Tweets) of offensive material related to this incident. Because he did not comply with this agreement, station management has suspended him until further notice.
At this point I feel that station management has done everything that they could in dealing fairly with this unfortunate situation. They have done what I asked in my complaint.
For these reasons, I hereby withdraw the complaint, reference #12-C00388623.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
William B. Gleason
